| Conclusion / Recommendations | Qué habría que hacer. Aquí sí opinas. |
| No escribas | Escribe |
|---|---|
| I asked some students and they said… | A survey of forty students revealed that… |
| I think the café is too small. | The café appears to be too small for peak hours. |
| Everybody hates the timetable. | The timetable was criticised by the majority of respondents. |
| We should buy more computers. | It is recommended that additional computers be purchased. |
| It was really good. | Feedback was overwhelmingly positive. |
Tarea: Your college principal has asked you to write a report on the college library. Comment on the facilities and the opening hours, and recommend improvements.
Introduction
The aim of this report is to assess the current state of the college library and to suggest possible improvements. The findings are based on a short survey completed by fifty students and on my own observations over three weeks.
Facilities
The reading room is generally considered adequate, and the recent addition of individual desks was welcomed by almost all respondents. However, the number of computers available remains a source of frustration: on several occasions during the examination period, students reported waiting more than an hour for a free terminal.
Opening hours
The library currently closes at seven o’clock, which was described as insufficient by two thirds of those surveyed. Students who work in the afternoons are effectively unable to use it at all.
Recommendations
It is recommended that at least ten additional computers be installed before the next examination period, and that closing time be extended to ten o’clock, at least during term. Neither measure would require significant building work.
Solo una encaja en un informe.
