Los idioms tienen mala fama porque los libros enseñan los que nadie dice. Estos treinta sí se oyen a diario, y usar dos o tres bien colocados en un speaking de B2 sube la nota.

Cómo usarlos sin que canten

Dos o tres en un texto es señal de buen nivel. Seis es señal de que te los has aprendido de una lista. Y sobre todo: no los traduzcas del español. «Estar en la luna» no es to be in the moon. Si no estás seguro de que existe, no lo uses.
