Pack de repaso del primer trimestre de 4º de ESO. Tiempos del pasado para narrar, used to y would, y el vocabulario de experiencias, relaciones y personalidad.

1 · Grammar del trimestre

Escribe la forma correcta. Ocho huecos.

  2. 2. She ___ (read) for two hours when the power went out.had been reading. Duración que venía de antes de otro momento pasado: past perfect continuous.
  3. 3. When I was small, we ___ (spend) every August at the coast.used to spend. Costumbre del pasado que ya no existe. Detrás va infinitivo sin to.
  4. 4. My grandfather ___ tell us the same story every Christmas.would. Para costumbres repetidas del pasado vale igual que used to. Con estados como be o have, solo used to.
  5. 5. I ___ (cycle) to work when a dog ran in front of me.was cycling. Acción larga en past continuous y la corta que la interrumpe en past simple.
  6. 6. They ___ (not / know) that we had already paid.did not know (o didn’t know). Past simple en negativo.
  7. 7. After she ___ (send) the email, she regretted it.had sent. After más past perfect marca claramente cuál fue primero.
  8. 8. We ___ (live) in that flat for six years before we bought this one.had lived (también vale had been living). El before con otro pasado detrás pide past perfect.

2 · Vocabulary del trimestre
