1 · Grammar del trimestre

Escribe la forma correcta. Ocho huecos.

  1. 1. While she ___ (cook), the phone rang.was cooking. La acción larga va en past continuous y la que la interrumpe en past simple. While casi siempre pide el continuo.
  2. 2. We ___ (watch) a film when the lights went out.were watching. Mismo esquema, con sujeto plural.
  3. 3. He ___ (buy) that jacket in Rome.bought. Irregular: buy, bought, bought.
  4. 4. There ___ nobody at the bus stop.was. Nobody va siempre en singular, aunque en español pensemos en varias personas.
  5. 5. This street is ___ (noisy) than mine.noisier. Acaba en -y: la y pasa a i y se añade -er.
  6. 6. It is the ___ (expensive) shop in town.most expensive. Adjetivo largo, superlativo con the most.
  7. 7. What ___ you doing at eight last night?were. Past continuous en pregunta: el auxiliar were va delante del sujeto.
  8. 8. They ___ (not / go) out because it was raining.did not go (o didn’t go). Past simple en negativo.

2 · Vocabulary del trimestre

  6. 14. We took the ___ because the museum was far away.underground (también vale bus o metro, pero en inglés británico el metro es the underground). Ojo: subway en Reino Unido es un paso subterráneo para peatones.

3 · Repaso mezclado

Todo junto y sin avisar de qué va cada frase, que es como sale en el examen.
