Lee el texto y elige la opción correcta. Cinco preguntas, medio punto cada una.
What the repair shop knows about us
Ines Duarte has run a phone repair shop in Braga for eleven years. She says the machines have not changed as much as the customers.
Ten years ago people brought in phones that were broken. Now, she says, most of what comes through the door works perfectly. The screen has a crack in the corner, or the battery lasts six hours instead of twelve, and the owner has been told by somebody that it is not worth repairing. She repairs about seventy per cent of them in under an hour.
What has changed on the manufacturers’ side is harder to fix. Some phones are built so that the battery cannot be taken out without breaking something else, and the parts are only sold to authorised shops. Duarte has had two machines certified so that she can keep working legally.
She was asked last year what she would tell a sixteen-year-old. She said: learn to open things. Not to repair them, necessarily. Just to look inside and see that there is nothing magic in there.

Parte 4 · Writing (2,5 puntos)
Write about something you own that you would repair instead of replacing, and why. Escribe entre 100 y 140 palabras. Esta parte la corrige el profesor.
Tienes que decir:
- what the object is and how long you have had it
- what is wrong with it
- why you would repair it rather than buy a new one
- what you think should change so that repairing is easier
