Sam’s week

My name is Sam and I am twelve. I live in a small flat in Bristol with my mother and my sister Amy. My grandmother does not live with us, but we visit her every Sunday and she always makes a cake.

There are four rooms in our flat. My favourite is the kitchen, because there is a big window and I can see the street. My school is very near, so I never take the bus. I walk, even when it rains.

I like all my subjects except history. Science is my favourite, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays I play basketball after school. Today is a bit different: we are not wearing our school uniform, because it is the last day of term. I am wearing my new trainers and everybody is looking at them.
