in	Periodos largos: meses, años, estaciones, siglos, partes del día	in July, in 2027, in summer, in the morning
on	Días y fechas concretas	on Monday, on 3rd May, on my birthday
at	Horas y momentos puntuales	at seven o’clock, at night, at the weekend

De mayor a menor: in para lo más amplio, on para el día, at para el punto exacto. Excepciones que hay que aceptar: at night pero in the morning.

Lugar: in, on, at

• in = dentro de un espacio cerrado o delimitado: in the room, in Spain, in my bag.
• on = sobre una superficie o una línea: on the table, on the wall, on the second floor.
• at = un punto o una referencia: at the door, at the bus stop, at work.

at school = estudiando allí. in the school = dentro del edificio. El matiz existe y en Use of English se pregunta.

Aquí no hay lógica: hay que aprenderlos en bloque. Estos son los que más caen y los que más se traducen mal del español.
